About Me

I was born and raised in West Virginia and have lived in several areas and traveled much of the state. My mother and father were both raised in rural Boone County as was I for much of my early life, but I’ve worked diligently and through self-education and hard work I have been quite successful in my sales career.

My background is quite extensive. I’ve worked in labor and technical fields early on with the local staging companies, but then went into the sales field. I’ve worked extensively in phone sales for retail and nonprofit. I’ve worked in banking, customer support and retail counter sales where I really learned what it means to provide extraordinary service there. I’ve spent some time working with a large law firm where I started to get acquainted with several local businesses and their professional staffs. And I’ve even been involved in government work as the Administrator for the Ironton Port Authority in Ohio when I was living there.

In 2008, I was asked to interview with Bert Wolfe Toyota, and I’ve been able to put my hard work, willingness to learn new things, and my extensive and diverse background to work in what has been the best fit for me and what I enjoy thus far.

As of September 2018, my dealership has undergone a transformational change when the Wolfe family sold the business to its new owners, David & Shawn Ball, who’ve renamed the company Ball Toyota of Charleston. After more than a decade with the same team, I continue to serve my same customers at this same location with renewed support from the Ball brothers and their management team.

At present, I have been honored by Toyota to be included into its National Sales Society for the past six consecutive years. This level of achievement comes from holding a very high number of annual car and truck sales as well as maintaining an outstanding customer satisfaction ranking as reported by my customers through surveys conducted by Toyota.

I’ve been honored in my industry to be a guest on Auto Dealer Live, a weekly internet based panel discussion show that reflects on topics in the automotive industry. I’ve also been a guest on the Be Less Typical (In Car Sales) Podcast with other appearances scheduled in the upcoming future.

On the state level, I am the highest rated individual salesperson at any Toyota dealership in the state of West Virginia, as verified by DealerRater.com, a private company that allows individuals to go online and rank any dealer in the country on sales and service.

I’ve been honing my craft and growing my client list ever since beginning my automotive sales career! I constantly train on the latest technologies and techniques (often at my own expense.) I serve a variety of companies and individuals to ensure that they have dependable transportation and someone with whom they can count on to take care of them should any dilemma ever occur where that might be affected.

Locally, I stay involved in my community as a member of the Charleston Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and I’m the staff resident contributing photographer for South Hills Living Magazine. So, if you are researching who you’d like to do business with when looking for your next vehicle, I’d be honored to meet with you and show you a better way to own your next ride!
